Environs Exhibit

Stories of sustainability – from rural, to suburban, and urban. An interactive installation transforming the Boulder Public Library Canyon Gallery into playscapes of the built environment.

Designed and built by a team of 6 students and myself, led by instructor Marcel de Lange. The scope of work included conceptualization, budgeting, library board approval, design iterations, material sourcing, fabrication, marketing and promotional materials, as well as installation and maintenance. In tandem with the exhibit I lead a series of workshops in the BLDG 61 makerspace for library patrons of all ages that covered topics surrounding sustainability and fabrication.
